As a long time athlete in basketball and snowmobile racing, Kristi suffered some major setbacks in her health. After receiving a kidney transplant in 2004 and being diagnosed with Crohns disease in 2008, Kristi was introduced to CrossFit in 2013 and began to take control of her health once again. She immediately began to see the health benefits and continues to impress her doctors. Kristi is an advocate for the health benefits of CrossFit and nutrition. Wanting to help educate others, Kristi received her Level 1 CrossFit Trainer Certification in 2017. She has competed in CrossFit and weightlifting competitions and plans to continue her education in fitness in order to help CFMV clients to reach their goals.
